I ordered delivery for the tuna melt sandwich, country fried steak breakfast and chocolate chip pancakes.
The steak and eggs breakfast was really good along with the tuna melt sandwich and I highly recommend it.
But the chocolate chip pancakes were very dry, thick and burnt so were inedible and definitely do not recommend it. Since no syrup was added as a condiment to my delivery, the dryness was exacerbated. -

Weak coffee. Like 1/2 the prepackaged coffee pack brewed in a whole pot weak.
Ordered scrambled and got sunny side up.
Not a big deal, but warmed embryos are one of the few things I just can't eat/stomach.
Server will be back in a sec to refill my empty coffee cup and ask if everything is ok.
Server comes back after I finished the hash browns, toast and bacon(all just up to par, nothing above and beyond )and the one cup of coffee. Looks at my plate with the three uneaten eggs, looks at me,sets the bill down with certainty and says "I'm leaving".
Nice.
What was also nice was the offered onions on the hash browns..."Sure" ,only to find $.50 added to the bill. Enjoy that $.50.
It's the last you'll ever get from my pocket.
Such a shame. Prime real estate in the heart of downtown. Could use a gutting and re-do. No matter how much you clean 45 year old floors, they just don't have that sparkle from 45 years ago. -

The Cloverleaf Restaurant, known to many locals as simply the "Leaf", has been a recognizable downtown Ann Arbor fixture at the corner of Liberty and South 4th for the past 45 years.
It's got the feel of a Greek Diner or Coney Island and caters primarily to the downtown weekday lunch crowd for anything from a Gyro, a Burger, a pair of Coneys, a Greek Salad or many other offerings. It also proudly proclaims "Breakfast Anytime" on its wrap-around green awning.
We were here for breakfast on a sunny and uncharacteristically snowless Sunday morning in mid-January.
While sipping our cups of hot Joe, we ordered a pair of Cloverleaf's featured Omelettes...one Western and one Greek. Our egg dishes were both excellent and cooked soft, exactly as ordered with plenty of fresh ingredients.
Service this morning was also right on spot with our coffee cups refilled two times without asking. With a combo of great service and superior omelettes, the Leaf earned 4 stars today showing why it has lasted nearly half a century in the heart of the Deuce. -

One of my favorite places to eat with friends! The back is very cute with all of the plants, and the servers have always been very nice! Food comes hot and fast. One of my favorite diners in Ann Arbor
